Prices for patients without insurance, October 2026. With a PPO plan, you pay your share and we put it in writing first.
Checkups and cleanings
Most adults need two a year. We take X-rays only when they're due, with bitewings once a year and a full set every five years.

Kids
We like to meet kids by their first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth. Toddlers sit on a parent's lap for the exam.

Fillings, root canals and extractions
Fillings are tooth-colored. A root canal saves a tooth that would otherwise come out, and most back teeth need a crown afterward.

Crowns and implants
Crowns are made by a dental lab in San Diego and fitted in two visits, two to three weeks apart. A single implant takes three to six months from post to crown.

Whitening
Whitening works on natural teeth. Crowns and fillings keep their shade, so we check them and look for cavities or sensitivity first.
